Wake-Up America, Wake-Up

Wake-Up America, Wake-Up
Thoughts of author Prof. Dr. Thomas Fletcher Grooms

China is in our face. They are buying our farm land, commercial properties, long-time family-owned businesses, historical name-brand products, military manufacturing processes, strategic factories, New York stock markets and Washington politicians. Americans don’t have to sell to our enemies, but that’s the American Way to do business living the dream of greed is good.

The Chinese foreign policy philosophy is to promise broadly in public, deliver slowly in practice, and keep any real leverage in reserve. Chinese diplomacy hides behind a motionless face which doesn’t display any decipher of thoughts or interpretations to be anticipated.

The American foreign policy philosophy is to create headlines which read destroying Russia at any cost inclusive with starting the Ukraine conflict, contain China with catchup diplomacy, day-late military positioning, muddy the waters in the middle east, and keep wasting money on NATO and Europe to have expensive lunch meetings.

While China is having birth-pains, America is having contractions. In 2013, China’s GNP economy surpassed one-trillion dollars larger than America’s economy. America continues lagging China as the second largest country economy. It doesn’t matter what words come from Washington as all credibility has been lost.

Where China expands its mediator role, America detracts from trust. Where we fail in foreign policy, China replaces with their Yin and Yang Taoist schools and military indoctrination.

America is business and has always been about business. America is not about leading in foreign policy, being policeman to the world, or being a military force threat to anyone who disagrees.

BUT America has been, remains and was the first and is the last hope for the world as the model for liberty, freedom and independence of its citizens. Contrary to what those Ivy League geniuses in Washington think, their arrogant leadership has destroyed all that was once good.

Americans are overtaxed, overweight, over technology indulged, buy overpriced goods, and pay too much for things. We’ve allowed the government and large corporations who distribute large bonuses among themselves while average working Americans get poorer letting them control prices instead of saying no, I want pay that inflated price.

America can’t continue to be a waring country without preparing for war. When the treasury is low, so are all things.

You may be thinking this writing is not being a good loyal American. If so, then what do you call the leadership of a country constantly lying to its people, feeding a false narrative to cover the tracks of failure, and dispersing heavy doses of propaganda to keep the barbarians from the gate …?

While China accumulates gold, silver and strategic minerals, America accumulates increasing credit, debt and exporting $10 (aka $100) per barrel oil to foreign countries from our strategic and emergency oil reserves. America continues to ignore its failed institutions being the Federal Reserve, Federal Department of Education, and NATO.

China, Russia and Iran follow the business principles of what made America great and America follows what brought China, Russia and Iran to ruin. China and Russia are doing what we did when we rose to world power last century. We are following in the footsteps of the fall of Russia last century.

China just announced it is cutting off all supply lines, supply chains, and manufacturing products to America. Where will we now source our parts, strategic minerals and materials, especially in times of war …? We won’t have what we can’t produce in the future.

No one wants to read about how powerful China is in many ways. Americans want to be entertained in mindless pursuits of ignorance.

The funny thing is China doesn’t need us. The Chinese people love their country and government. China is not collapsing. Reality is lagging.

I don’t expect any recognition for my work, but it would be comforting if someone got the attention of the American young people and young adults under 40 about what the eastern bloc countries have been saying about us since the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Not so long ago, I was serving on an Agriculture Future Planning Board. China was the largest property owner in the county. China doesn’t like attention, but in this case and others inside America, it’s needed.

China has more spies in America than we have agents to keep an eye on them. Thus, while we have an eye on China, China has eyes on us.

Listen to knowledgeable people saying bring our troops home from Europe and Asia and re-deploy our troops to Latin and South America. This is the same message I taught in the classroom for over twenty-years. It’s like trying to take a drink of country sulfur water from a fire-hose if one was thirsty in the desert.

Poison Politics

Poison politics has ruled America since 22 November 1963 after the assassination of President John F Kennedy. Today, Washington is in the cross-hairs of every country in the world.

As America changed, so did our politics. The South, once solidly Democrat before 1963, shifted to align with the Republican Party over the decades since 1965. Americans betrayed by both Democrat and Republican political parties have turned independent politically.

Due to the start of the Ukraine police action, Iran skirmish over the Strait of Hormuz, Taiwan no interference breach of trust, and economic collapse of America, people all the world have been hurt. As a result, everybody hates Washington, worldwide externally and especially internally, for what they have done to us and rightly so.

Even our two remaining allies, England and Australia, can’t trust Washington to keep its word. We can do better than this.
Others expect it.

Credit and debt of America have become the communist mantra of we will bury you. Taxes are the venom of politicians to try in foolish desperation for equality and socialism which kills, injures and impairs.

Too many Americans received degrees to sit in offices looking at data and number crunching in lieu of making something productive and useful. Words, numbers and paper don’t feed a nation.

It comes back around to a poorly educated non-reading public. Many young adults have never experienced tough times, really tough times.

I’m not sure how you wake-up a mass of people who seem to ignore the outside world, little more about what’s going on inside America. Ignorance isn’t always bliss.

Speaking as a former teacher, the government classroom has served no good purpose for decades because of its indoctrination, excessive controls, bad administration due to bad laws and regulations, and political accreditation agencies which have nothing to do with learning. The best of the best teachers can’t teach the basics of learning or be creative in the classroom with learning due to administrator bias.

Like my friend who escaped from the Hungary eastern bloc-country after the fall of communism said, “I’m so afraid for the young people in America”.

Those thoughtful words from an older survivor’s perspective who escaped the communist cold-war wall hardships still cries …
Wake-Up America, Wake-Up.
