Oil … Iranian-American Diplomacy … Middle East War
Thoughts of author Prof. Dr. Thomas Fletcher Grooms
Oil
If oil were a currency, the stock market wouldn’t exist. The present world order alignment of nations wouldn’t be the same.
Gold wouldn’t hold present value. Gold would return to the status of just another industrial element. Languages would intertwine into a universal language. Cultures would be meshed. Lifestyles would have fewer possessions. The need for government structure would erode. Fewer public offices and office holders would be needed. Religion would become universal in spirit.
In the 1948 armistice, the Jewish people returned to Israel and the messianic feud with the Arabs and Persians ensued. While the rapidly increasing tempo of change in life advanced, the prosperity of the world continues to depend on a steady supply of oil for the economic functions of nations.
Then came the series of Arab-Persian-Israeli wars threatening the inclusion of Russia, America and China. As a result, an emerging confederation of Middle East nations consolidated economic, political, military and energy reserves.
In 1956, Israel held the Gaza Strip. This war saw the alliance of Egypt to the west, Jordan to the east, Syria to the north, Iran and Iraq in abeyance.
In 1964, the Arabs in Israel rejected Jordan for their homeland and organized the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) to take back Israel by force. The Palestinian edict fed rage between Jew, Arab and Persian.
In 1967, Jerusalem won the war with Egypt only to become the object of diplomatic dispute. It ended with the Syria six-day blitz-war in Israel’s favor. During 1967-1973, America came under pressure to withdraw support for Israel for a continued flow of oil.
In the 1973 Yom Kippur war, Egypt invaded the Sinai Peninsula to the south of Israel and Syria invaded the Golan Heights to the north of Israel. The Arabs in Israel had influenced a new diplomacy unity of Muslim nations to upset the balance of power in the Middle East.
Since its discovery, oil creates transition of power more so than any mineral element, currency or political ideology. $10 per barrel oil struggled with the problems of the Middle East and its conflicting religious theocracies.
In 1973, oil became a political weapon of choice because of nation dependency. The oil embargo created an oil shortage affecting everyone in the world, especially America and the Netherlands.
America was able to survive the Arab oil embargo led by Saudi Arabia with increased imports of oil from Iran. Soon afterwards, Persian Iran strengthened ties with its Arab neighbors.
In 1990, Russia was in collapse and Iraq seized Kuwait giving greater credence to the providential presence of oil for last-days prophecy. As long as war could be diverted away from the oil fields, world catastrophe could be averted.
Continuing tension in the Middle East and Europe have led some to ask if the dramatic developments of conflict over oil are leading to a third world war. Middle East oil continues to be the major factor in the political, economic and military climate necessary for power in today’s world.
If this is true, this answers many questions about the future. The search for answers the modern world ask leads to an intelligent understanding of how conclusions shape developments.
At the present time, American leadership is contemplating a military troop invasion of Iran. Iran is considering the release of nuclear missiles. The outcome of both would change the today but not the long-term tomorrow. This might become a stalemate in world events marking a quid pro quo.
Iranian-American Diplomacy
Oil still leads the way in Iranian-American diplomacy. The possibility of nuclear missiles in the Iranian arsenal continue to cause hesitation.
In 1883, Iranian-American diplomacy began with the establishment of the American Legation at Tehran. The Shuster mission and later the Millspaugh mission further strengthened Iranian-American relations.
In 1918, Troyanovsky of Russia in his book Vostok I Revolutsia, outlined the blueprints where Iran was to act as the main source of operations from which a socialist revolution would spread across Asia and eventually throughout the world.
By 1967, American aid to Iran had been phased out. The Iranian economy was stable and country monetarily powerful due to oil revenues used for educational and health facilities, industrial and social development. Iran found itself free from foreign political, military and economic control.
The Iranian Diplomacy which followed, was centered on special relationships with America, Russia, Eastern European countries, Afghanistan, its Arab neighbors and even Israel at the time. Persians, Arabs and Moslems believe Moses was the spokesman of God, Jesus the Christ was the spirit of God, and Mohammed the Prophet of God.
The historical foundation of Iranian diplomacy is both commercial and strategic in nature with Iranian oil acting as the power leverage of influence with every country of diplomatic relations. Whether economic stratification or military control, Iranian concessions adhere to a policy of isolationism or Middle East war.
After all these years, Iran still formulates Iranian diplomacy based on Iranian independence from Russia and America and being truly independent from any and all outside influencers. Today, regardless of who is the head-of-state, the Iranian government exercises acts of sovereignty independent of foreign powers for the Persian people.
Iranian diplomacy is predicated on the production of oil and control of the Strait of Hormuz. The world will eventually give way to Iran being the political and economic Moslem power of the Middle East.
Now is its hour of opportunity. Iran will fulfill its future destiny.
In 2026, the preservation of peace and fear unity of Moslem nations, Russia, China and American intentions are predominate in the ever shifting of Iranian-American diplomacy.
Middle East War or World War III
My assessment, several years ago Iran was made a nuclear power with transfers of nuclear missiles from North Korea. This was never confirmed by any intelligence agency, admission by Iran, but solely based on speculation of my work. It may be true, it may not be true; but if it is, it’s a well-hidden secret that gives Iran its confidence.
The Middle East War has many contributing factors. Especially with the Ukraine and Taiwan. Distracting military operations may have contributed to a Middle East War focus.
2022 February 20 was the date Biden threatened to setup nuclear missile installations in the Ukraine and to make the Ukraine a full member of NATO bordering Russia. The following morning Zelensky announced the Ukraine preparation for military incursion into eastern Ukraine to displace Russian occupied sectors. This marks the official benchmark date for the Declaration of War on Russia. The entire world changed on that hinge-factor when Russia responded by sending in their troops into the Ukraine on 24 February 2022. Washington next replied with sanctions and declarations to destroy Russia, its old rival. (Source: Grooms, China, 2026, 2022).
2022 August 2 marks the official benchmark date for the Declaration of War on China with the Pelosi visit and American paramilitary force landing in Taiwan. Taiwan is not the flash point for world war. It’s the pacific base of China for its blue water navy extending to Midway and encircling Japan.

2026 February 28 marks the official benchmark date for the Declaration of War on Iran with the launch of coordinated joint American and Israeli military strike operations. On 4 March 2026, Iran responded with closure of the Strait of Hormuz threatening attack on any ship attempting to transit.
As a result, hundreds of ships remain captive and trapped in the Persian Gulf. Oman desires war on the Islamic Republic of Iran to secure its touchpoint position on the Strait of Hormuz.
Oil may be last-days prophecy or desperation for economic stimulus. It’s oil making the Middle East a flash point that may well trigger World War III.
The most destructive financial force is credit and debt. The most destructive global influence is oil. Mix the two together and you have the fire to ignite World War III.
What better place to start …?
When a country pressures another country, they resist.
When a country pressures its allies, they retreat.
When a country threatens war, they harden.
When a country threatens economic instability, the world becomes unstable.
Maybe the Middle East has always been a climate for war. Whatever happens, the Middle East will always be the crossroad for the world.
The Middle East may be a smoldering heat for the present. Yet, that simmering heat has the potential to burst into flames at any moment.
